Demining Company is a privately owned limited liability company established under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Iraq. Its principal place of business and main office is in Basra, Iraq. AL-WAHA Demining Company was founded in Basra year 2009, With the establishment of the Humanitarian Mine Action capacity in the Republic of Iraq in 2011. AL-WAHA was among the commercial companies to start developing human capacities for providing services of humanitarian mine and unexploded ordnance clearance in Iraq.

On 16/8/2021, a large amount of war munitions and explosive bombs were destroyed from the remnants of the Iran-Iraq war, with concerted efforts by the staff of the Al waha demining Company and the military engineering heroes of the Basra Operations Command, knowing that these munitions were found through technical survey work.
